Come join our team as a full-time Medical Assistant - Team Lead with BJC Medical Group in Godfrey, Illinois. This is a rare opportunity to join a great team! This is an outpatient role, 40-hours per week, Day Shift, and is benefit eligible. NO CALL, NO WEEKENDS, NO HOLIDAYS. Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• 2-5 years experience
• < 2 years supervisor experience
• Cert/Reg in Area of Expertise

Nice To Haves

• 5-10 years experience
• 2-5 years supervisor experience
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation

Responsibilities

• Responsible for leading a team of Medical Assistants in providing patient care under the direction of a physician or other licensed provider.
• Serves as an experienced role model within the practice supporting compliance, providing cross-training, following practice protocols and performing procedures within the practice.
• Manages inventory and tracking of medications and supplies.
• Ensures practice is in compliance with OSHA and all protocols/procedures in the delivery of patient care.
• Acts as MA clinical subject matter expert to assist practice management in oversight of coverage and daily patient operations.
• Monitors MA required training and certification records and ensures everyone is in compliance with HR.
• Performs triage of incoming escalated patient requests.
