This position includes a sign on bonus for eligible new hires joining Seattle Children's! This position will support the Sports Cardiology Program. Our Sports Cardiology Program is a specialized pediatric cardiology clinic designed for children and teens who participate in competitive athletics or high level of exercise. The primary location is Seattle, however, in the future staff may be required to travel to other sites including Everett, Bellevue, Kirkland, Renton. Provide coordination services to patients within designated sub-specialty populations. Services will begin with the evaluation/diagnosis of the patient, continuing throughout the care continuum, including the follow-up care needed to maintain access and continuity of care. Provides clinical assistance and performs diagnostic testing within the MA scope of practice. Specialized tasks include the creation and interpretation of policies, procedures, and regulations, management of patient information, QI projects, and research data for ambulatory patients. The focus will be on the improvement of patient care, safety, and patient/family experience through significant interaction with both internal and external patients and stakeholders. Will assist families to address/resolve questions/concerns, as well as, support interactions between the sub-specialty team and the patients/families.
