About The Position
The Journey Medical Assistant-Registered (MA-R) works under the delegation of a licensed practitioner to perform duties as directed to assist in providing patient care to assigned patients. A Journey MA-R performs all aspects of the Associate MA-R role and is fully competent in the clinical needs and functions for the assigned clinic or location. The role is expected to be performed in accordance with established policies, procedures, and regulations. The position is with Swedish Health Services DBA Swedish Medical Group, part of Providence. Requirements
- Obtain Washington Medical Assistant Registration within 60 days of hire.
- Obtain National Provider BLS from the American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.
- At least 6 months of healthcare experience.
- At least 6 months of Medical Assistant experience.
Nice To Haves
- Coursework or training as a Medical Assistant, Medical Office Assistant, Medical Secretary, or Health Unit Coordinator/Clerk.
