About The Position

Saline Memorial Hospital is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) for their Women's Clinic. This is a full-time position with a Monday-Friday, 8 am - 5 pm schedule. The role involves assisting with patient assessments and treatments under the supervision of physicians or nurses, performing basic diagnostic procedures and specimen collection, monitoring patient conditions, documenting care, maintaining equipment and supplies, and performing administrative duties. The ideal candidate will exhibit exceptional customer service and contribute to a positive, patient-centered environment built on teamwork, compassion, and clear communication.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• CMA or RMA or CCMA via the AAMA or NHA required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required
• Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

Nice To Haves

• Associate degree preferred

Responsibilities

• Under the supervision of physicians or nurses, assists with performing patient assessments and treatments.
• Performs basic diagnostic procedures and specimen collection.
• Monitors and communication changes in patient condition.
• Documents patient care given.
• Maintains equipment and medical supplies, including reordering, stocking, cleaning, and troubleshooting.
• Maintains examination areas.
• Perform administrative or clerical duties as assigned, including filing, reception, scheduling, data entry, and patient registration.
• Exhibits exceptional customer service with patients and teammates.
