About The Position

Valley View's Women's Health clinic is looking for a Clinic Medical Assistant to join their team. This is a full-time position in a busy OBGYN clinic that promotes a teamwork-based culture with excellent providers. The role involves performing clinical duties as delegated by licensed healthcare providers or registered nurses, assisting with patient assessments, rooming patients, procedures, treatments, medical record management, and general office clerical duties. Patient care tasks are performed following clinic standards of care.

Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent, required.
CNA registered with DORA.
CMA or RMA
Current BLS Certification (AHA) preferred or obtained within 3 months of hire.
Phlebotomy experience preferred.
Laboratory and/or X-ray experience preferred.
Recent health care setting experience preferred.
Eligible to work in the United States.

Nice To Haves

Bilingual applicants strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Performs all clinical duties per licensed health care provider or delegation of a registered nurse, designated specifically by the clinic.
Provides assistance to licensed health care providers and nursing staff for general patient assessments, rooming patients, procedures, treatments, filing/retrieving medical records, and general office clerical duties.
Performs patient care tasks following clinic standards of care as defined in policies and procedures.
