About The Position
This role is for a Medical Assistant in the Pulmonary department at Franklin Hospital, with potential to float to All Saints. The position is part-time, day shift, and involves assisting physicians and nurses with patient care, recording medical history and vital signs, preparing and sanitizing treatment rooms, and managing clerical tasks.
Requirements
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association OR American Red Cross accepted.
- High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
- 24 hours a week | Between M-F | No weekends or major holidays
Nice To Haves

Responsibilities
- Assist physicians and nurses with patient examinations, treatments, and specialized clinical duties.
- Interview patients to record medical history and accurately measure vital signs for charting.
- Prepare and sanitize treatment rooms while ensuring all medical supplies are ordered and stocked.
- Manage essential clerical tasks, including phone correspondence, record maintenance, and filing.
