About The Position

This is a Full Time position (40 hours/week) for a Medical Assistant / Patient Service Representative in an Outpatient Headache Clinic located in Glenview, IL. The role involves preparing patients for examinations, obtaining specimens, conducting routine laboratory tests, performing phlebotomy, and executing delegated clinical and administrative tasks under physician supervision. The clinic operates Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM CST, with no on-call, holiday, or weekend duties. Occasional travel to the Chicago - Lincoln Park Office may be required for coverage.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED
Current certification or registration as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Registered Medical Assistant (RMA), or Clinical Certified Medical Assistant (CCMA) through AAMA, ARMA, NHA, or another certifying agency
At least 6 months of clinical experience
Current CPR Certification issued by either American Heart Association or Red Cross
A valid driver's license is required if performing duties at an off-site location
If using a personal vehicle, must maintain automobile liability coverage as required by law
Flexible to scheduling changes including overtime, evening and Saturday rotation
