We are currently recruiting for multiple clinic locations across the Triangle with a variety of schedule options available. Primarily supports one provider, requiring a flexible and adaptable team player. Opportunity to contribute in a busy, fast-paced clinical environment. Requirements

  • CMA, CCMA, RMA, or EMT certification
  • At least one year of Medical Assistant experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and integrity
  • Flexibility and resilience

Responsibilities

  • Escort patients to and from exam/treatment rooms
  • Triage patients as necessary
  • Administer vaccines and injections
  • Record patient data prior to the physician’s visit
  • Assist physicians with exams and a wide variety of procedures
  • Administer medications
  • Prepare and stock exam/treatment rooms and order supplies as needed
  • Maintain proper disinfection protocols
  • Complete prior authorizations for medications and diagnostic imaging
  • Phone in prescriptions and distribute proper medications as ordered by the provider
