About The Position

This role is for a Medical Assistant in the Primary Care department at the Green Bay Road Clinic in Brown Deer, WI. The position is full-time, day shift, working 40 hours a week, Monday through Friday, with no weekends or holidays. The Medical Assistant will assist with treatments ordered by a physician as supervised by a physician or registered nurse, and perform select clinical duties. This includes interviewing patients, measuring vital signs, recording information on patient charts, preparing treatment rooms, performing basic clerical duties such as answering phones, maintaining records, and filing, and managing materials by ordering and stocking supplies. The role also involves assisting with maintaining a clean and orderly environment.

Requirements

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association OR American Red Cross accepted.
High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.

Nice To Haves

Prior MA experience or CMA preferred
