About The Position
The Medical Assistant / Patient Support Associate in Integrative Medicine, Days, will greet patients, escort them to exam rooms, document vital signs, allergies, medications, and the reason for their office visit. They will also perform basic vitals such as blood pressure, height, and weight, and provide front office support as needed. Phlebotomy and giving injections may vary based on the specialty.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent work experience is required.
- CPR certification through the American Heart Association required
- One year of work experience required
Nice To Haves
- Graduate of an accredited medical assisting program is preferred, but not required.
- Medical Assistant Certification (AMT or AAMA) is preferred, but not required.
- previous experience working in a medical office (or related field) is preferred.
