Requirements

Accredited MA training or equivalent experience
MA certification
1+ year of healthcare experience preferred
Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
Comfort working in a fast paced, patient centered environment

Responsibilities

Greeting patients and checking them in with warmth and professionalism
Managing calls, messages, scheduling, referrals, follow ups, and co pays
Assisting with insurance verifications and prior authorizations
Updating patient information and supporting clear communication between patients and providers
Rooming patients and preparing them for their visit
Taking vitals, updating medical histories, and documenting in the HER
Assisting providers with procedures and administering vaccines
Performing point -of-car testing
Maintaining clean, stocked exam rooms and following all safety protocols
