About The Position

Aesthetemed Beauty and Wellness Clinic is seeking a friendly, highly communicative and detail-oriented Medical Assistant / Patient Coordinator to join our healthcare team in Hallandale Beach, Florida. This is a full-time, on-site position. You will serve as a key liaison between patients and providers, helping patients understand available services, provider-approved care plans and next steps while delivering an exceptional patient experience.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Strong spoken and written English and the ability to explain information clearly and empathetically.
Comfort presenting clinic-approved services and answering non-clinical patient questions.
Excellent organization, multitasking and problem-solving skills.
A professional, patient-centered and team-oriented attitude.
Ability to work full-time on-site at our Hallandale Beach clinic.

Nice To Haves

An associate’s degree is preferred.
Previous experience in healthcare, a medical office or a patient-facing role is preferred.
Spanish-language proficiency is a plus, not a requirement.

Responsibilities

Greet patients warmly and create a welcoming, professional first impression.
Build positive relationships with patients and provide a high-quality experience.
Clearly explain available services, procedures and care options using clinic-approved information.
Answer non-clinical patient questions with confidence and empathy, and refer clinical questions or concerns to the licensed provider.
Follow up with patients about consultations, treatments and provider-approved post-care instructions.
Assist with appointment scheduling and coordination.
Support patients throughout their visit to promote comfort and satisfaction.
Maintain patient confidentiality and handle information in accordance with clinic privacy procedures and HIPAA requirements.
