Full-Time Medical Assistant or Healthcare Tech for Silver City
About The Position
Gila Health Resources is seeking a Full-time Medical Assistant (or Healthcare Tech) for its Silver City Occupational Medicine Clinic. This role involves taking vitals, rooming patients, scanning, and performing various tests and screenings such as drug & alcohol, pulmonary function, hearing, and respirator fit testing. The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal and patient skills, work effectively in a team, be detail-oriented, punctual, and reliable. The clinic operates Monday through Friday, 6 a.m. to 5 p.m., with rotating 9-hour shifts (6 a.m. to 3 p.m., 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., or 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.). The position also requires participation in a rotating after-hours Drug & Alcohol Testing on-call schedule, with additional compensation for on-call duties and call-backs.
