About The Position
We are seeking a Medical Assistant, Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), or Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) to join our team at ProHealth Care’s Brookfield Clinic. This full-time role will support a Family Medicine Provider in Primary Care. The clinic is located in the vibrant Brookfield area, easily accessible from major roadways and offers free on-site parking. Brookfield is known for its bustling community, thriving businesses, and an array of shopping and dining options.
Requirements
- Medical Assistant, LPN, or EMT
- Prior experience in a healthcare setting
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a team
Nice To Haves
- Proficiency in Epic or other electronic medical record (EMR) systems
Responsibilities
- Assist with patient care
- Perform clinical tasks such as taking vitals, administering medications, and preparing patients for exams
- Support providers with patient assessments and minor procedures
- Manage patient records using the Epic EMR system
- Respond to patient inquiries and follow up on care plans
- Ensure a clean, organized, and efficient work environment
