Medical Assistant or Clinic LPN or EMT- Ears Nose Throat - Full Time - Thursdays Off
About The Position
Begin your story with ProHealth Medical Group’s Ear, Nose and Throat team serving patients in Brookfield and Pewaukee. This specialty clinic supports patients with a wide range of ENT needs including sinus conditions, hearing concerns, swallowing disorders, allergies, sleep-related conditions and procedural care in a collaborative outpatient environment. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a mix of hands-on clinical care, procedures, teamwork and variety throughout the day. You will work closely with providers while supporting patients through evaluations, treatments and follow-up care in a fast-paced specialty clinic setting.
Requirements
- Completion of Medical Assistant, LPN or EMT program, or equivalent clinical experience as defined by ProHealth Care
- Active BLS certification through the American Heart Association required
- Strong communication, teamwork and patient service skills
Nice To Haves
- Prior clinic or specialty practice experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Support providers during ENT visits, treatments and procedures
- Room patients, obtain vitals and review health histories
- Assist with specialty testing, patient education and follow-up care
- Prepare exam and procedure rooms and maintain clinical supplies
- Coordinate patient communication, refill requests and in-basket work
- Collaborate closely with providers and teammates to support clinic flow
- Help create a welcoming and positive patient experience
- Occasionally travel to Oconomowoc Clinic for coverage support
