About The Position
The Medical Assistant NCT works under the general direction of a physician to provide healthcare services to individuals and families as instructed by a physician or advanced practice provider (APP). The position performs routine clinical procedures as directed, participates in patient education, and enters appropriate documentation into patients’ health records. The role is required to report during inclement weather.
Requirements
- High school diploma.
- Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program.
- National or Registered Medical Assistant certification.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- NCT permit through the Texas Medical Board.
Nice To Haves
- 1–3 years of professional Medical Assistant experience is preferred.
