As a Medical Assistant/LPN, you’ll play a vital role in the care team – supporting providers, connecting with patients, and helping ensure a seamless, compassionate experience every day. As a key member of the ambulatory care team, you will welcome patients and support their transition into care, take and record vital signs, medical histories, and health screenings, prepare patients for exams and assist providers during procedures, administer medications and vaccines as directed, perform lab-related tasks including specimen collection and point-of-care testing, document care accurately in the electronic health record, and partner with physicians, nurses, and teammates to deliver high-quality, coordinated care. The surgery clinic at Aurora West Allis Medical Center is part of a large community hospital within Advocate Aurora Health that serves the Milwaukee area. The medical center offers a broad range of surgical specialties and is known for providing both inpatient and outpatient surgical care. Your feedback matters. Every teammate’s voice is vital in shaping our culture and improving care. We value your insights and experiences because they help us grow stronger together.
