About The Position
Join our team as a day shift, full-time, Family Practice Medical Assistant (MA) in Roswell, NM. You may be eligible for a sign on bonus of $2500. Lovelace Regional Hospital includes 24/7 emergency services, intensive care, inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation, surgical and birthing services for Roswell and the surrounding community.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Basic Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and Microsoft Office knowledge.
- BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
Nice To Haves
- Associate’s degree.
- Graduate from an accredited medical assistant/medical technologist school/program.
- Prior experience in a clinic or hospital setting supporting patient care
- Current national certification as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA).
Responsibilities
- The Medical Assistant Non-Certified provides superior patient care and performs administrative and delegated clinical tasks that support patients in a clinic-based environment as part of a care team led by the physician and/or advanced practice provider.
