This is a full-time position with a day shift at Indianola Urgent Care. The role involves delivering patient care through preparation, vital sign collection, and documentation. Responsibilities include assisting with procedures, maintaining aseptic techniques, administering medications, preparing patient charts, filing dictations, communicating with patients about results and care plans, scheduling various medical services, coordinating physician schedules, managing patient follow-ups, maintaining patient confidentiality, educating patients and families, promoting evidence-based practices, and acting as a patient advocate. The position also involves assisting with training new colleagues, cross-covering in other clinic areas, documenting patient care plans, and escalating issues as needed. The role requires maintaining knowledge of applicable laws and regulations, Trinity Health's Integrity Program, Standards of Conduct, and other policies and procedures to ensure ethical and professional behavior.
