About The Position

Overlake Medical Center and Clinics is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse to join their Downtown Bellevue Urgent Care. This part-time evening role involves providing a wide range of healthcare services, including patient rooming, maintaining patient flow, performing blood draws, processing lab samples, splinting, and other assigned duties. The urgent care also offers health maintenance screenings, immunizations, annual physical exams, routine women's care, acute care, chronic disease management, and in-house laboratory services. Overlake Medical Center is a 349-bed, nonprofit regional medical center in the Puget Sound region, employing nearly 3,000 people and known for award-winning, compassionate, and patient-centered care. They were the first Level III Trauma Center on the Eastside.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED (Medical Assistant)
  • Graduate of a certified medical assistant program or previous military training/experience that satisfies Washington state standards (Medical Assistant)
  • Medical Assistant Certification (MA-C) or Interim MA-C through WA State DOH (the latter must obtain regular MA-C within 6-months of hire) (Medical Assistant)
  • Current healthcare provider CPR certification
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Experience with EMR applications
  • Lab/phlebotomy skills
  • Graduate of a licensed practical nurse program or previous military training/experience that satisfies Washington state standards (Licensed Practical Nurse)
  • Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) through WA State DOH (Licensed Practical Nurse)
  • Proof of full COVID-19 immunization (after October 18, 2021)

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with EMR applications, EPIC preferred
  • One year of clinic experience (for LPN)
