About The Position

In an Urgent Care setting, the Medical Assistant performs individualized patient procedures, treatment, and tests. This role also involves associated clerical tasks such as chart preparation, stocking clinic supplies, and answering telephones. The incumbent provides advanced assistance with medical clinic operations and monitors clinic flow. The primary work location for this position is Bellevue, but depending on business need, the incumbent may be required to work at any of Seattle Children’s Urgent Care locations. Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent experience
Medical Assistant Certified by Washington State Department of Health (DOH) prior to start date
Current Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS)

Nice To Haves

Graduation from an accredited medical assistant program
Medical Assistant or medical office experience
Current Medical Assistant experience in Pediatrics, Urgent Care experience and/or Medical screening and immunization
Current National Medical Assistant Association Certification
