About The Position

Seeking a Medical Assistant (MA) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support clinic operations, assist providers with patient care, and perform clinical and administrative duties for patients of all ages. The role follows a rotating six-week schedule with 12-hour shifts, including weekdays and weekends. The schedule may change based on operational needs.

Requirements

• Medical Assistant candidates must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Medical Assistant candidates must have graduated from an accredited Medical Assistant program (ABHES/CAAHEP), or an eligible accredited RMA program with required experience and certification exam completion.
• Medical Assistant candidates must have current BLS certification.
• LPN candidates must hold an active Minnesota Practical Nurse (PN) license at submission.
• LPN candidates must have current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and assist with patient flow.
• Administer injections, immunizations, and medications as directed.
• Perform specimen collection, phlebotomy, and laboratory testing as needed.
• Assist with prescription refills and prior authorizations.
• Provide telephone, front desk, and patient communication support.
• Stock supplies and perform X-ray duties if qualified.
• Collaborate with providers and the healthcare team to ensure quality patient care.
