Medical Assistant / LPN

About The Position

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Medical Assistant will be accountable for the delivery of quality care to patients and families of all ages according to the individualized needs of the patient. The Medical Assistant or LPN is responsible for assisting physicians, mid-level providers, and other clinical staff in providing medical services to patients with provider delegation within scope of practice.

Requirements

  • Experience with electronic medical records preferred.
  • Evidence of a working style that emphasizes collegiality, teamwork, participation, communication and service orientation required.
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and assist in other duties as needed.
  • Possess strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask required.
  • Must possess a high degree of initiative, judgment, and discretion.
  • Maintain a professional appearance.
  • High school diploma or General Education Diploma (GED).
  • Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program (for Medical Assistant role).
  • A minimum of one (1) years of experience is required (for Medical Assistant role).
  • Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing program (for LPN role).
  • A minimum of two (2) years of experience is required (for LPN role).
  • Current WA State Medical Assistant Certification required (for Medical Assistant role).
  • Current BLS certification required (for Medical Assistant role).
  • Current WA State Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) License (for LPN role).
  • Current BLS Required (for LPN role).

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in an ambulatory care setting preferred (for both roles).
