About The Position

Overlake Medical Center and Clinics is seeking a Medical Assistant to join its Issaquah Primary Care clinic in Issaquah, Washington. Medical Assistants work with providers to support an exceptional care experience for patients and their families. Daily duties include rooming patients, triaging phone calls, and helping coordinate patient care. The position is scheduled for 32 hours per week: Tuesday 7:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m., Wednesday 8:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m., Thursday 7:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m., and Friday 7:00 a.m.–11:30 p.m.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Graduation from a certified medical assistant program, or previous military training or experience that satisfies Washington state standards.
Medical Assistant Certification (MA-C) through Washington State Department of Health.
Current healthcare provider CPR certification.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Nice To Haves

Experience with EMR applications; EPIC experience is preferred.
