About The Position

As our Lead Medical Assistant, you will help your patients and clinical team experience seamless and efficient care so they can focus on optimal health outcomes and a smoothly running clinic. Every day you will take the lead on proactively preparing patient charts, coordinating patient flow, and supporting medical providers. You will be expected to escort patients to exam rooms, assist in determining medical problems, take vital signs, and maintain records, as well as assist medical providers with minor diagnostic procedures and treatments as directed. Furthermore, you will assist in the scheduling and supervising of assigned staff, provide ongoing performance feedback, act as a key communicator between the clinical staff and Site Coordinator, serve as a primary evaluator for interviews, and act as a preceptor for newly hired staff, assuring all critical tasks are completed per clinic protocols. To be successful in this role, you must possess enthusiasm to help others, work efficiently, and demonstrate empathy for our patients. You must also have strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and proven experience in supervising or leading a team in a clinical setting.

Requirements

  • Completion of a medical assistant training program
  • 1-3 years prior medical assistant experience
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) card required within 90 days
