About The Position

This role performs and oversees clinical activities, including maintaining patient flow, assisting with primary and preventative healthcare delivery, performing technical procedures, and adhering to lab protocols under physician/provider direction. The Medical Assistant III also assists management in achieving office efficiencies and ensuring smooth operations, embodying a 'Service First' philosophy to enhance customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1 year of relevant experience as a Medical Assistant (MA); or Completion of the Corewell Health MA Internship and 6 months of MA experience; or Completion of the Corewell Health MA Apprenticeship program
• AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Required upon hire
• AAMA Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) OR AMT Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) OR NHA Certified Medical Assistant (CCMA) OR NCCT Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA) OR License Practical Nursing (LPN) State of Michigan Required within 90 Days

Responsibilities
