About The Position

This is a full-time Medical Assistant position in a busy Primary Care office supporting multiple providers and clinical staff. The role involves preparing patients for examinations, collecting specimens, performing routine laboratory and diagnostic tests, recording results, and potentially performing phlebotomy. The Medical Assistant will also administer selected medications/injections under physician supervision and handle clerical duties related to clinic operations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED - REQUIRED
• Current CPR BLS Certification issued by American Heart Association - REQUIRED

Nice To Haves

• Certified, Registered, and Clinical Certified Medical Assistants (CMA, RMA or CCMA) are required to provide current certification or registration through American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA), American Registry of Medical Assistants (ARMA), National Health career Association (NHA) or any other certifying agency and should have at least 6 months of clinical experience. - PREFERRED
• Candidates who are not certified or registered should have at least one year of clinical experience. - PREFERRED
