Medical Assistant II, Primary Care - Airport
About The Position
Baptist Health is looking to hire a Medical Assistant II for our Primary Care Airport office located in Jacksonville, FL. This is a Full-Time opportunity. Monday-Friday, 7:45-4:45. The ideal candidate will have experience performing back-office Medical Assistant duties, including rooming patients, obtaining vital signs, and assisting providers. This position is administrative focused, with regular involvement in triage tasks. Baptist Health’s care for the community spans generations. Requirements
- Over 5 years Patient Care Experience
- Experience in Physician's office
- High School Diploma/GED Required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
- Certified Medical Assistant Required
Nice To Haves
- Associate of Arts/Science Preferred
Responsibilities
- Obtains vital signs
- Greets and chaperones patients during medical visit
- Maintains medical documentation
- Schedules care, treatment, diagnostic tests per physician
- Processes prescription requests and referrals
