About The Position

ChristianaCare is hiring a Medical Assistant II for our Lung Health Program at Broomall, PA. Join ChristianaCare’s Lung Health & Screening Program and make a direct impact on patient lives through early detection and preventive care. As a Medical Assistant II, you’ll support patients throughout their screening journey — from intake and preparation to coordination and follow-up — in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment. The Medical Assistant II ensures the delivery of high-quality patient care, assists providers during virtual and in-person appointments, and acts as a leader and mentor to office staff to promote effective workflow and team collaboration.

Requirements

  • High School Graduate or GED required
  • A graduate of a recognized Medical Assistant Program
  • Hold current Medical Assistant Certification by a national organization accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA) or the American National Standards Institute (ANSI)
  • Two years’ experience as a Medical Assistant
