About The Position
ChristianaCare's Primary Care practice at Glen Mills (Brinton Lake), PA is looking for a seeking a professional, dependable, detail-oriented Medical Assistant I with strong communication, integrity, and solid technical and clinical skills. As a Medical Assistant I, you support physicians in virtual and on-site patient care, performing essential clinical and clerical duties to ensure quality care.
Requirements
- High School Graduate or GED required
- Graduate of a recognized Medical Assistant Program or hold current Medical Assistant Certification by a national organization accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA) or the American National Standards Institute (ANSI)

Responsibilities
- Greets and supports patients virtually and in person
- Prepares patients for visits
- Performs basic clinical tasks (e.g., testing, injections, EKGs)
- Assists with exams
- Maintains exam rooms and equipment
- Manages EMR updates
- Handles patient communications, referrals, and authorizations
- Manages scheduling
- Handles clerical duties
- Troubleshoots video visits
- Supports patient portal access
