About The Position

ChristianaCare's Primary Care Map II in Newark is seeking a professional, dependable, detail-oriented Medical Assistant I with strong communication, integrity, and solid technical and clinical skills. Primary Care at Medical Arts Pavilion II offers a comprehensive practice that includes pediatrics, family medicine, and internal medicine. The team of physicians, assistants, and nurse practitioners provides expert care for newborns, children, and adults, including gynecology, women's health, vaccinations, and physical examinations. As a Medical Assistant I, you support physicians in virtual and on-site patient care, performing essential clinical and clerical duties to ensure quality care.

Requirements

  • High School Graduate or GED required
  • Graduate of a recognized Medical Assistant Program or hold current Medical Assistant Certification by a national organization accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA) or the American National Standards Institute (ANSI)

Responsibilities

  • Greets and supports patients virtually and in person
