Position Details: Overview: Do you enjoy assisting providers in procedures, learning all about a specific specialty, and getting to do a variety of tasks in a clinic setting? Join our team as a dermatology Medical Assistant! Job Title: Medical Assistant & Histotech (Surgical team, and General Dermatology) Location: Portland primary location, travel to Gresham/Vancouver or other clinics within district if needed (mileage reimbursed) Typical Schedule: Varied Tuesdays - Fridays, 7:30am - 5:00pm

Requirements

Must have experience as a Mohs Histotechnician in frozen section procedures
Must be Certified or Registered as a Medical Assistant through the WA State Department of Health
Must either be a graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program, a Certified or Registered MA, or a Certified Derm Tech
HS Diploma, GED; and 1-3 months related healthcare experience or trade school equivalent
Our medical assistants must be comfortable in a fast paced environment
Our medical assistants must have exceptional customer service skills, be highly organized, and very detail oriented.
