As a Medical Assistant Float supporting our Wallingford and Hamden centers, you'll work alongside experienced clinical teams in two unique care settings while building new skills and making a difference for patients every day. This float position offers the opportunity to experience two distinct but equally supportive teams. In Hamden, you'll enjoy a fast-paced, high-volume environment where teamwork, energy, and exceptional patient care drive each day. Requirements
- Medical Assistant training preferred
- EHR/EMR experience preferred
- CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Responsibilities
- Support providers with patient care and treatments
- Perform vital signs, EKGs, testing, and specimen collection
- Manage patient documentation and front-office support
- Help maintain a safe, organized clinical environment
