About The Position

Seeking a bilingual Medical Assistant for a full-time position, working Monday to Friday, 8:30 am-4:30 pm. This role requires floating between our NJ satellite locations (Pennsauken, Blackwood, & Cherry Hill) as needed. The initial training will be conducted in our Vineland office. The Medical Assistant will perform various clinical duties to ensure the healthcare practice runs efficiently, working directly with staff to assist in clinical tasks, collect test samples, maintain patient records, and schedule appointments. The position requires a reliable individual with at least 2 years of experience in a healthcare practice or hospital setting, and must be bilingual in Spanish. Wound care experience is preferred.

Requirements

  • Bilingual Spanish
  • 2+ years of experience working for a healthcare practice or hospital required
  • Customer service skills: ability to provide customer support in a prompt, friendly, and timely manner
  • Self-starter and team player: must be able to work both independently as well as in a team-oriented environment
  • Listening and communication skills: ability to actively listen and possess great oral and written communication skills
  • Professionalism: must be enthusiastic, respectful, and friendly; with a professional and welcoming presentation, and a positive attitude
  • Phone handling skills: solid phone handling etiquette and ability to handle a multi-line telephone system
  • Interpersonal skills: strong interpersonal skills to relate easily with people of various backgrounds and personalities
  • Computer skills: proficient with Microsoft Office tools and possess strong keyboarding skills
  • Organizational skills: well-organized, detail-oriented, and multi-tasking, with the ability to effectively prioritize assignments and adapt to change easily
  • Technical skills: basic skills for operating and maintaining office machinery
  • Patient Scheduling experience required
  • Certified/Registered/Clinical Medical Assistant (Required)

Responsibilities

  • Assist in clinical duties
