About The Position

BayCare Clinic Neurological Surgeons is looking for a compassionate, thoughtful Medical Assistant / CNA to join their team in Green Bay, WI. Requirements

Medical Assistant program completion with valid MA certification desired but not required.
6 months – 1 year of related experience preferred.
Must be computer literate.

Responsibilities

Escort patients to rooms, taking vital signs, and patient teaching as directed by a physician.
Collects and documents patient information in a thorough and consistent manner.
Provide assistance with execution of the plan of care as established by the provider, answering minor medical questions or concerns, and making telephone calls to patients.
Provides appropriate teaching materials, and assists in providing accurate answers to questions, all in support of patient and family.
Assists in the performance of any physician ordered pre-operative treatment/tests as well as the pre-operative preparation of the patient.
Assists in the post-operative execution of physician orders.
Respects and maintains confidentiality.
Works in a safe, compliant, and ethical manner at all times.
