About The Position

This role involves providing medical care to clients in a professional, compassionate, and effective manner, adhering to established standards. The position requires taking and recording client vitals, ordering and managing medications, and assisting with administrative duties as needed. The individual will also be responsible for maintaining medication security and monitoring client medications from prescribing physicians.

Requirements

• CNA certification or equivalent medical assistant qualifications
• Experience in taking and recording vital signs
• Knowledge of medication management and security protocols
• Ability to monitor and document client medications
• Proficiency in administrative duties
• Reliable work attendance and adherence to company procedures for leave requests

Responsibilities

• Take and record vitals of clients
• Provide medical care in a professional, compassionate and effective manner, and in keeping with established standards.
• Responsible for ordering medications
• Maintain the security of medication in the storage and dosing areas, ensuring that all supplies are accounted for.
• Monitor and document client medications from prescribing physicians both inside and outside of the organization.
• Assist with administrative duties when needed
• Attend in-services, staff meetings, and other staff functions as required by Supervisor.
• Maintain a schedule approved by Supervisor.
• Is reliable in work attendance, and follows Freedom House procedures when requesting planned or unplanned leave.
