About The Position
University Physicians' Association is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant (MA), Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our fast-paced, patient-focused practice in Knoxville, TN.
Requirements
- Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and excellent time management
- Medical Assistant Certification or LPN License
- Prior medical experience required
Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with patient care and ensure smooth office operations
- Handle scheduling, prior authorizations, and pre-certifications for MRIs and CTs
- Communicate test results and perform phlebotomy
- Maintain professional relationships with patients, families, and providers while promoting a positive image of the practice
