Medical Assistant - Clinic Evaluations (Full-Time)
About The Position
The IMA Group is hiring a Medical Assistant to support non-diagnostic medical evaluations. This position offers a structured environment and a strong work-life balance, with predictable hours. The role is within the Government Services Division, which supports local, state, and federal agencies by delivering professional and objective medical and psychological examinations and ancillary services. The Payer Services Division meets the evaluation and screening needs of Carriers, TPAs, Public Entities and Employers, including behavioral health and physical medicine specialty services. The Clinical Research Division performs Phase II-IV clinical trials in multiple therapeutic areas through a nationwide network of site locations and virtual capabilities.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior hands-on clinical experience
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Nice To Haves
- MA certification is a plus, not required
Responsibilities
- Record vitals, medical histories, and patient information
- Support providers during exams and assessments
- Perform phlebotomy, EKGs, and other standard procedures
- Ensure exam rooms are prepped and compliant with standards
- Assist with patient coordination and documentation tasks
