Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Active Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA), or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification is required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification though the American Heart Association is required within 60 days of hire.

Nice To Haves

• One year of experience preferred
• a compassionate medical assistant with a deep understanding of physician practices and patient care.

Responsibilities

• Accurately identifies patient needs and documents basic medical history.
• Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient
• Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record
• Assist during medical examinations.
