About The Position
Scheurer Primary Care - Pigeon, a part of Scheurer Health, is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant to float between all Scheurer Primary Care Clinics. This is an 80 hours per pay position with varying hours.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Successful completion of a Medical Assistant program
Responsibilities
- Greet and register each patient
- Room placement
- Verify insurance coverage
- Collect co-pays
- Data entry in an electronic medical record
- Prep patients, and provide assistant to the physician during patient care
- Remarkable customer service skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
