About The Position

Mountain View Hospital is looking for a Medical Assistant or CMA to join their team. The Medical Assistant or CMA is responsible for assisting the physician with patient care, clerical, environmental, and organizational tasks. This role is responsible for appointment scheduling, including care and chart management. The Medical Assistant or CMA will provide information to patients so they may fully utilize and benefit from the clinic services and will convey a positive image of the clinic. Responsibilities include collecting and processing routine testing, returning results to the doctor, obtaining and processing doctor's orders, and data entry. The role requires providing good customer service on the phone, to patients, doctors, and other medical staff, and the ability to work well under pressure. The Medical Assistant or CMA will perform CLIA waived moderate testing.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited high school program or higher.
• Current BLS Certification.
• Valid driver’s license.

Nice To Haves

• CMA course preferred, not required.
• Phlebotomy course and phlebotomy experience.
