About The Position

Centerpoint Health - Georgetown is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) for their Urology department. This is a full-time position with day shifts, Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm. The role involves performing routine clinical and administrative duties, assisting providers, managing patient records, and supporting front office operations. Requirements

• CMA, CCMA, or RMA certification required
• Current BLS certification required within 30 days of hire

Nice To Haves

• Completion of an accredited Medical Assisting program preferred

Responsibilities

• Performs routine clinical and administrative duties in support of assigned area or office.
• Take vital signs, document patient history, and update electronic health records (EHR)
• Assist providers with exams, procedures, and administering medications or injections
• Perform basic lab tasks, prepare specimens, and maintain clean, stocked exam rooms
• Support front office and patient care coordination, including scheduling, insurance verification, and patient education
