What's your day like? As a Full-Time Medical Ancillary Assistant at Injury Management Organization, Inc., you will play a vital role in processing referrals within our system for Peer Reviews, Required Medical Exams, Designated Doctors Exams, Retrospective Utilization Reviews, and Liability Medical Analysis. Your responsibilities include collecting essential clinical data to support these requests while ensuring all required DWC forms are completed in accordance with established DWC rules and manuals. Additionally, you will provide superior customer service to our clients, embodying our core values of integrity and empathy in every interaction.

Requirements

  • Robust understanding of medical terminology.
  • Familiarity with ICD-10 and CPT coding.
  • Intermediate-advanced skill level in computer literacy.
  • Ability to type at 40 words per minute or more.
  • Previous experience in medical peer reviews, liability medical analysis, required medical exams, and designated doctors exams is highly valued.
  • Solid understanding of workers' compensation and Texas law.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Must undergo a background and drug screen once an offer has been extended and accepted.

Responsibilities
