About The Position
Mountain Lake Services is seeking experienced and safe drivers for Medical Aide Driver positions in the Essex County, NY area. This role offers a flexible schedule and the opportunity to help the local community by providing transportation to individuals receiving services for medical appointments, home visits, and community locations. In addition to driving, the role involves providing direct support to individuals within the community and residential programs, and ensuring proper paperwork accompanies clients to appointments and is distributed upon return.
Requirements
- Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED.
- An individual must be flexible, enjoy working with people, and have good communication skills.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience and training are desired but not necessary.
Responsibilities
- Provide transportation in a safe and professional manner, for individuals receiving services to medical and clinical appointments, home visits, and community locations.
- Ensure required paperwork, including Face Sheet and Consultation Form accompanies the individual to the medical appointment and is distributed to the appropriate staff member upon return.
- Provide direct support to individuals receiving services both within the community and the residential program.
