About The Position

This role focuses on providing cosmetic dermatology services, including facials, laser treatments, and microneedling. The Medical Aesthetician will also support skincare education across clinics and see approximately 7-8 patients per day with 1-hour appointments. The practice is focused on cosmetic dermatology and is currently supported by one other Medical Aesthetician. The role is heavily patient-focused, with 90% of the time dedicated to patient care and 10% to administrative tasks. It offers a steady, structured schedule with consistent patient flow, emphasizing quality treatments and patient experience. The position requires promoting a positive image, contributing to practice growth, and demonstrating a high level of knowledge in cosmetic treatments, skincare products, and procedures to ensure patient satisfaction. This includes performing facial skin rejuvenation procedures, educating patients, and developing client relationships to build a repeat customer base.

Requirements

Active Aesthetician License required
5+ years of experience in aesthetic services
Requires High School Diploma/GED.
Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
Current IN State License from Indiana Cosmetology Board required.
Two to three years experience as a cosmetologist required
Requires working knowledge of all aspects of cosmetology and best practices.
Requires excellent communication and people skills.
Requires proven ability to sell products.
Requires high level of physical stamina.

Nice To Haves

Strong background in cosmetic dermatology preferred
Current IN State License from Indiana Cosmetology Board as aesthetician preferred.

Responsibilities

Demonstrate high level of knowledge of cosmetic treatments, skin care products and procedures that will ensure patient satisfaction; perform facial skin rejuvenation procedures which may include facials, eyelash and eyebrow enhancement procedures, and make up application; educate patients about cosmetic treatments, products and procedures performed; develop, promote client relationships building repeat customer base.
