About The Position
As a Medical Advocate, you will assist in organizing, arranging, and completing visits with outside professionals as required to meet the medical needs of each individual, integrating medical needs and services into the individual program plans for each participant. This role involves building relationships and providing quality, individualized care with a consistent caseload. The schedule is Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with no weekends or holidays required. The starting wage is $15.00 per hour.
Requirements
- Possess current and valid driver's license and auto insurance, and maintain a good driving record.
- High School diploma or GED
- Ability to meet employment requirements (i.e. health screening, Driving Record, TB test)
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and schedule all medical appointments
- Serve as a liaison between doctors and pharmacies
- Maintain and update all medical records
- Provide transportation to and from doctor’s appointments
- Assist in organizing, arranging, and completing visits with outside professionals as required to meet the medical needs of each individual
- Integrate medical needs and services into the individual program plans for each participant
