About The Position

Posterity Group LLC is seeking a Medical Administration Specialist to provide contract administrative support to the Medical Logistics Department at The Naval Medical Clinic San Diego and associated locations. This role involves managing service contracts, assisting with acquisition packages, preparing presentations, and ensuring all duties are performed within the limitations of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR). The specialist will also monitor healthcare delivery plans, prepare reports, conduct studies, and implement policies to improve MTF effectiveness and quality of care.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • A minimum of two (2) years of experience in an administrative, office management, or contract administration role.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite products, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, for tasks such as creating documents, managing data in spreadsheets, and preparing presentations.

  • A bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide contract administrative support to the Medical Logistics Department.
  • Develop, manage, and maintain a comprehensive tracking system for all service contracts under the department's purview to monitor periods of performance, option years, and other key milestones.
  • Assist government personnel in the preparation and assembly of acquisition package documents, including working with various departments to gather requirements and helping to draft Performance Work Statements (PWS).
  • Prepare documents for internal routing and signatures by authorized government personnel, ensuring packages are complete and formatted correctly.
  • Prepare and format presentations (e.g., PowerPoint slides) to provide the status of contracts for Command Acquisition Meetings and other required briefings.
  • Present contract status data during official meetings as required by authorized government personnel.
  • Perform all duties within the limitations set forth by the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) to ensure no inherently governmental functions are performed.
  • Perform other administrative functions as assigned and within the scope of the performance work statement.
  • Monitors health care delivery plans; market forces, patient and beneficiary demand and other issues impacting MTF capabilities/capacity, access to care compliance and/or quality of care.
  • Prepares presentations, project papers, staff and biometric reports and other medical administrative correspondence; delivers to senior MTF management.
  • Conducts studies in support of various projects, program, processes or initiatives covering military health care activities.
  • Implements MTF policy and initiatives to improve effectiveness, efficiency, productivity and customer satisfaction and quality improvement efforts.
