About The Position

Provides assistance to the agency through collaboration with Care Managers and Care Manager Supervisors by assuring that Medicaid is active for the families we serve. The Medicaid Specialist is responsible for ensuring that the mission of the organization is carried out through the work that it is charged with. The Medicaid Specialist will have knowledge of services available to families in the community.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or Associate's Degree with 1 year relevant experience.
• Bi-Lingual, Spanish Preferred.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, assessment and system negotiation skills, creativity and enthusiasm are essential.
• Ability to work as a team.
• Ability to demonstrate professionalism at all times.

Responsibilities
