About The Position

MB2 Dental, a Dental Partnership Organization (DPO) founded in 2007, is hiring a Medicaid Payer Enrollment Specialist. This role is responsible for ensuring dental providers and offices are accurately enrolled with insurance payers, managing new enrollments and reenrollment for commercial and Medicaid payers. The specialist will work with dentists, office managers, and insurance representatives to submit documentation, monitor application status, and resolve enrollment issues. This ensures providers and offices are correctly linked to Tax Identification Numbers and payer contracts for uninterrupted claims payment and compliance. MB2 supports over 815 Dentist Owners and 820 practices across 45 states and is recognized as an exceptional workplace.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 – 5 years payer enrollment experience.
  • Strong capability to collaborate and communicate.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient with credentialing software, payer portals, and Microsoft Office Suite.

Nice To Haves

  • CPES certification is a plus.
  • Experience in dental payer enrollment is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and submit enrollment and re-enrollment applications to commercial and government payers.
  • Monitor payer portals and correspondence to track application status and follow up with payers on pending requests.
  • Identifies issues that require additional investigation and evaluation, validates discrepancies, and ensures appropriate escalation and/or follow-up.
  • Maintain accurate provider records in the credentialing platform to serve as the single source of truth, ensuring data integrity, regulatory compliance, and timely claims processing.
  • Collaborate with the Credentialing Team and Liaison Team to gather necessary provider documentation for enrollment.
  • Communicate clearly with stakeholders regarding application status, required next steps, and potential impacts on claims processing.
  • Ensure compliance with all payer regulations, contract terms, and organizational policies.
  • Collaborate with the revenue cycle and claims teams to troubleshoot payment issues related to enrollment.
