About The Position

Radiant Health is looking for a Medicaid Eligibility & Enrollment Specialist to help individuals navigate the Medicaid application and enrollment process and connect them with appropriate healthcare coverage. In this role, you’ll work directly with clients to help determine preliminary eligibility, complete applications, gather documentation, and follow applications through the enrollment process. You’ll also serve as an important connection between clients, healthcare providers, and government agencies.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Strong computer and data-entry skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to meet with clients in the community, in their homes, or at a Radiant Health location.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred, particularly in social work, healthcare administration, or a related field.
  • Experience with Medicaid, health insurance enrollment, or public assistance programs preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct client intake and eligibility pre-screenings to identify appropriate Medicaid programs and urgent needs.
  • Help clients complete Medicaid applications by collecting accurate personal, financial, and household information.
  • Gather and verify required documentation to support eligibility requirements.
  • Submit applications accurately and within required timelines.
  • Track application progress and follow up with clients and agencies to resolve issues and prevent delays.
  • Explain benefits, coverage options, and enrollment processes in a way clients can understand.
  • Provide ongoing support with renewals, changes, and coverage-related issues.
  • Maintain accurate documentation while protecting client confidentiality and complying with HIPAA and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers, case coordinators, and state agencies to support continuity of care.
  • Stay up to date on Medicaid policies, procedures, and system changes.
  • Perform other related duties within the scope and level of the position.
